Our boys Aidan and Dylan joined the keilor east under 5/8’s and under 12’s this year and it has been an absolute god sent. My eldest Aidan (11) is a kid that was not quite ready for a club set up although he has been soccer max since the World Cup. He has flourished under Alex’s coaching.
My youngest Dylan (now 4yo) joined when he was 3. It was the whole ‘I want to do my my brother is doing’. In the space of one term, he ahas come leaps and bounds.
I put this down to Alex’s coaching style. He is very engaged with all the kids. Very good with facilitating their learning. He is gentle with the younger kids and makes things fun whilst still keeping them in check and on task.
He is equally as good with the older group and pushed them to get the best out of the sessions. My son will be easily club ready soon.
He is the reason we will be continuing throughout the rest of the year. At home it’s ‘Alex this and Alex that’. Fair to say they have warmed to him well and it is evident that he has to them. Brilliant coach, lovely guy, very approachable, top bloke, great program.
Thanks Joe and Alex. Wonderful program. We will see you in a couple of weeks!
